
I began my creative career in photography when I was 17. My first job was at Dixons, selling the latest range of old analogue cameras, such as the Olympus OM10 and Pentax ME Super. My first camera was a Zinit E, but when I got access to staff discounts, I bought myself a pristine, brand new, Pentax ME Super. I still use analogue cameras from time to time and have a very old Rollei 35 camera.
Later on, when digital photography arrived, I became a professional photographer. I mainly photographed Weddings and Portraits, which I still do from time to time. I also teach photgraphy from the basics right up to weddings and portraiture.
I always carry my camera with me and look for the interesting and unusual. If I find a great place, I'll also paint it, so I often have photographs and acrylic paintings covering the same topic.
